About the Role
As an Inventory Manager you will play an important role to ensure the accuracy of all inventory as well as grow a small team. This role will interface with other key teams in Operations and will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager. This is an ideal role for an analytical problem solver with excellent organizational and management skills.
You will
Oversee inventory controls to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, adhering to inventory policies and procedures
Provide leadership and employee development, maintaining a positive and productive work environment
Lead cycle counts, review results, and report any variances
Analyze daily inventory movements and report discrepancies
Plan and execute site inventory audits to ensure adherence to control procedures and policies
Compile monthly metrics reports, including data on damages, cycle count adjustments, returns, and clerical errors
Collaborate with distribution and manufacturing teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials for daily production and fulfillment
Maintain accurate documentation of component and material usage
Organize and maintain all inventory locations both physically and systematically
Ensure all employees are trained in cycle counting and inventory-related transactions
Work with the Senior Operations Manager to establish or update procedures as needed to address and prevent issues, fostering an environment of continuous improvement
Follow all proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
You have
Minimum of 5 years of inventory control experience, including at least 1 year of handling raw materials
Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising or leading a team
Proficiency in G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Experience with ERP or WMS systems (Shiphero preferred)
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Effective time management skills
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
A continuous improvement mindset with a sense of urgency and commitment to excellence
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
