An apartment community in Glenview has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in the Management Office.
Responsibilities include: • Handling new tenant move in and move outs in the building; • Assistant tenants with any questions regarding the building; • Create and close out tenant work orders in the property management software; • Running reports for management through the property management software and Microsoft Office programs; • Ordering supplies, maintaining inventory of supplies, etc; • Responsible to ensure mail is distributed and sent out as required; • Handling all tenant files, processing credit card payments, running credit checks and ensuring completion of files; • Work in a team environment to ensure the management office runs smoothly; • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree preferred; • 2-3 years of previous office experience required. Previous real estate experience preferred. • Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communications; • Must be highly organized, professional and able to handle multiple priorities; • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Previous experience with Yardi is a definite plus; • Must be flexible and ability to work weekends as needed.
