A leading Medical Device company are actively seeking a motivated candidate to fill their Lab Tech opportunity. This is an 18-month contract role with opportunity to extend/ convert to FTE. This role is based out of Irvine, CA and the salary ranges between $20-25/hour depending on experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in medical technology preferred.
0-2 years' experience required.
Must have strong understanding of lab safety rules in wet and dry lab settings.
Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
Job Responsibilities:
Support R&D, clinical, and training teams with their beating heart system needs, by providing animal or human cadaver fixed hearts and other beating heart equipment.
Order, and maintain the inventory for the animal and human cadaver heart programs.
Process and fix animal and/or human cadaver hearts to be used in beating heart systems.
