Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Trust and Estate Partner to spearhead the establishment of a new office in South Florida. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the growth and development of the firm's Trust and Estate practice in Florida.
Responsibilities:
Practice Development: Lead and expand the firm's Trust and Estate practice in Florida, including business development and client acquisition.
Client Management: Provide high-quality legal counsel and representation to clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related litigation.
Team Leadership: Mentor and oversee junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the practice, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and other industry professionals to enhance the firm's presence and reputation in the Florida market.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and manage risks associated with trust and estate matters.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases and transactions.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a legal practice, including experience in business development and client relationship management.
Legal Expertise: Deep knowledge of Florida trust and estate law, including estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related litigation.
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar.
Client Focus: Strong client service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
