Top Stack is partnering with a global manufacturer to find an AR Analyst for their growing team!
Responsibilities:
Credit Evaluation: Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial information, credit scores, payment history, and other relevant data.
Credit Limits: Establish appropriate credit limits for customers based on analysis and company policies to minimize risk while supporting sales growth.
Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collections efforts on overdue accounts. Contact customers to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate credit risks through regular reviews and adjustments to credit terms, including placing accounts on credit hold when necessary.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, collection activities, and credit risk assessments for management review.
Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve disputes or discrepancies.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements related to credit and collections procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
