Our client in Scottdale is a fee-based RIA managing over 600 million in client assets who is looking for a Financial Advisor to service existing client relationships both from a financial planning standpoint as well as an investment management approach to ensure client retention and satisfaction throughout the financial planning lifecycle. The ideal candidate would hold the CFP designation or be willing to obtain it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetings
Support the Senior Advisors in creating and assembling materials for client meetings
Attend client meetings
Assist in the execution of client recommendations
Assist the Senior Advisors in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topics
Perform research in investments, income tax planning, estate planning, employee benefits, the impact of recent regulations, and financial markets
Manage workflow and prioritize projects
Building strong, personal relationships with our existing clients
Proactive outbound calls to existing clients, identifying opportunities through needs-based analysis, and positioning appropriate solutions
Delivering unparalleled value and outstanding service
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, firm and staff information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
CFP® designation or Series 66
At least five (5) years experience in the Financial Planning field directly managing client relationships
In-depth understanding of the Financial Planning process and corresponding software
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Must be computer literate (Windows, Microsoft Office)
Ten (10) years experience managing client relationships
Located in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area
Experience with Orion, Salesforce, eMoney, and TD Ameritrade/Schwab software systems
RIA prospect sales experience
Flexibility to travel
