Job Description:

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing financial activities within healthcare organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, healthcare regulations, and financial best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting/Month end Close: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial health of the organization.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning and decision-making by senior management.

Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify areas for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue optimization within healthcare operations.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.

Audit Support: Coordinate and support external audits and reviews by providing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit findings in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles within the healthcare industry a plus

Intermediate Excel Skills required (pivot tables, VLookups)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
