Job Description:

Position Summary

This Financial Analyst position supports accounting responsibilities, with a focus on month end closing and reporting, cash application and supporting the shared services department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Site Analysis Support - Completing various request for analysis that may arise (Research variances in labor expenses, billing, and unusual high expense issues etc.)
  • Site Cost Plan Support - Provide support to Project/Site/T/A Managers around budget/forecast process and any queries around specific site issues
  • Revenue & Cost Analysis/Accrual - Monitor billing & expenses to ensure the correct revenue & expense is recognized, and post accruals for current period for work in progress.
  • Results Analysis - Review revenue/cost plans for all projects. Run results analysis and post WIP entries to the P&L.
  • Monthly site reporting - Prepare per project a dashboard highlighting overall performance during the period versus plan
  • Responsible for cash application, cash monitoring and forecasting role in annual audits.
  • As needed, will train others, and assist the accounting team objectives, as a lead, when and if delegated by the VP of Finance or Senior Financial Supervisor
  • Site Support - Support operations with CMIC, AP, AR & Payroll issues.

Education, Experience, and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years related experienced
  • Proficiency in CMiC
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other proprietary software.
  • Purchase to Pay knowledge and experience required
  • Experience in procuring products and services/sub-contractors

Work Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The person in this position will operate in a stationary position for significant portions of the day.
  • The person in this position will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
