We are seeking a Social Media Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate within the Digital Marketing Department to implement social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, and drive product/service adoption. You will train new team members, refine processes, manage budgets, and maintain team documentation. Success in this position requires a comprehensive understanding of social media strategies and tactics, as well as strong leadership and training capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervise and train social media team, including the development, documentation, and communication of SOPs, and maintain peer-to-peer coaching through individual or group settings.
  • Develop new social media products and improve current offerings.
  • Assist the Inbound Marketing Manager with managing master campaign budgets.
  • Develop social spend plans, custom strategy breakdowns, and provide paid social estimations and deliverables for custom campaigns in collaboration with the Inbound Marketing Manager.
  • Partner with the Digital Strategy team on custom proposals and audience targeting for new verticals and campaign objectives.
  • Present strategies and capabilities to clients and internal teams alongside the Inbound Marketing Manager.
  • Manage and implement high-value client social advertising campaigns with the Inbound Marketing Manager.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications; document new features, ad units, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with various teams to execute client campaigns and advise on strategic growth opportunities.
  • Implement social media strategies, coordinating with Digital Marketing and Sales & Service teams to ensure effectiveness.
  • Manage social media campaigns and daily activities: create editorial calendars, produce engaging content, schedule posts, build audiences, run advertising campaigns, manage interactions, and share relevant content.
  • Measure the impact of social media programs, analyze and report on campaign effectiveness, and provide insights to internal team members.
  • Support team members with client needs and recommendations.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their applications in various scenarios.
  • Excellent technical skills related to social media platforms and tools, with the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience managing a team.

Education & Experience:
  • BA/BS in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • Demonstrable experience with at least two years social media for business required; experience with managing multiple accounts using automated software highly preferred.
  • Business understanding of social media platforms.
  • Agency experience preferred.

Supervision/Contacts:
  • Directly reports to the Inbound Marketing Manager.

Work Environment:
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.

Physical Demands:
  • Job involves sitting most of the time: walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.

Travel:
  • Travel will be required rarely, if at all. Total travel time will be less than 10% of the time.
