At PET Imaging Institute of South Florida, serving our patients throughout their care journey is our utmost priority. As a dedicated outpatient imaging provider specializing in PET scans, we take pride in our team's expertise in PET/CT imaging. The Practice Outreach Territory Representative is a field-based position with responsibilities in physician education and marketing. Reporting to the Director of Practice Outreach, this role is tasked with implementing local strategies to broaden the appropriate use of PET/CT services, including advanced tracers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase overall awareness of PET scan offerings, including FDG and advanced tracers, across various specialties such as oncology, neurology, cardiology, and primary care.
  • Establish and expand relationships with physicians and referring office personnel through quality interactions.
  • Understand various disease states, indications, and insurance guidelines for appropriate PET scan utilization.
  • Develop and implement an effective territory business plan. Incorporate a compliant and tailored strategy by applying business analytics, marketplace, and disease state knowledge to achieve business objectives and enhance physician and patient outreach.
  • Identify and collaborate with internal and external partners who may impact healthcare decision-making at the local level, demonstrating an understanding of therapeutic conditions, imaging options, healthcare practices, and emerging trends.
  • Prioritize and complete all corporate and administrative responsibilities efficiently, including trainings, expense reports, and other assignments by the established due date.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of healthcare sales, marketing, or clinical experience.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach.
  • Expertise in establishing and expanding relationships across an organization.
  • A valid FL driver's license.
  • A reliable and insured vehicle.
  • The ability to travel within the territory weekdays and attend company sponsored functions (including weekends), as needed.

Preferred
  • Prior sales and/or clinical experience in oncology.
