This critical role, the Software Development Technical Lead, will take on leadership, which will include a mix of hands-on development, team management (on and offshore), and customer engagement initiatives to help drive innovation of our platform leading to faster delivery, increased innovation, and ultimately, the best customer experience around.
Responsibilities:
Drive new feature development and lead migration projects on our brand-new micro-services/container-based architecture using .NET Core, React.JS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Lead a blended team of on shore and offshore developers, QA, and Business Analysts, providing technical mentorship and hands-on development
Drive best practices for your team, in the areas of testing, code review, Agile, deployment and more
Work with various teams within Entech's organization to develop best practices for enterprise architecture, SOA, internet security and others
Interface with customers to narrow in on technical and business requirements that will drive the Agile development processes of your team
Identify and communicate the impacts of technical debt and develop strategies that will pay-down those debts
Requirements:
Ability to lead the design and development of our core platform
Superior ability to develop web applications using C#, .Net Core, etc
In-depth understanding of DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, ELK)
Experience with AWS/Azure, Workflow/BPMN preferred
Having a learners-mentality and tinkerer, with your own pet projects
Experienced running a blended team of onshore and offshore respources
Collaborator with solid opinions on technology, and love learning from the opinions and experience of teammates
Ability to solve complex problems and delivering solutions that make life and work easier for those who use your products
Demonstrated knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB/Liquibase & ETL (Talend, Informatica)
A hands on technologist who also enjoys helping others around you reach their highest potential
Ideal Candidates will have IT Consulting Services experience and solid client relationship building as part of their overall skills
