The Quality Assurance Manager serves as the primary expert in scientific, regulatory, technical, product safety, and/or quality matters related to the company. This role is responsible for establishing quality and reliability standards while ensuring compliance through capability building. The Quality Assurance Manager oversees consumer complaints, product recalls, and quality-related issues and focuses on mitigating risks and achieving financial objectives related to quality.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Quality Authorization process for Manufacturing Plants.
Analyze metrics to demonstrate compliance with company requirements.
Drive corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate risk and meet system goals.
Provide information to senior management for decision-making during crisis situations.
Review audit results and identify the severity of findings to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Support customers and business partners to identify and resolve incidents, maintaining product integrity.
Serve as a scientific, regulatory, technical, or quality expert, responding to inquiries and providing support.
Act as a resource and consultant for technical teams within the company.
Protect confidential information provided by external sources, ensuring it is not disseminated.
Establish relationships and collaborate effectively with external parties to meet financial goals.
Build and maintain relationships with peers to exchange feedback and achieve business results.
Develop an understanding of customer needs and expectations.
Work with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and lead capital construction projects.
Analyze technical information to provide governance and identify new approaches.
Manage Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and transportation.
Manage complex regulatory issues affecting products, ingredients, packages, or claims.
Interact with government officials to represent the company or industry on scientific matters.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years' relevant work experience
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to apply scientific and technical knowledge to deliver new products or product improvements
Strong knowledge of consumer behavior, product positioning and branding, and marketplace dynamics
Excellent project management skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Excellent Regulatory Affairs skills
Ability to anticipate issues or concerns of interest to public health officials in order to respond to those concerns
Experience advocating a position in a non-adversarial manner
Proficient with Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Travel up to 10%
