One of our longest standing service verticals has been assisting transition clients from legacy systems to cloud based platforms including introduction of Cloud / AGI / GenAI and Computer Vision models.

We are seeking a Quality Technician with prior experience with working in an ISO certified environment along with ISO implementation experience. We are seeking candidates who can interpret technical blueprints, geometric

dimensioning & tolerance principles, data collection & reporting, using metrology equipment, and working in a manufacturing and / or warehouse environment.

  • This will will be a hybrid role with onsite locations in Visalia CA & Utah (~50% travel)
  • We will pay all travel related expenses
  • Client has shown interest to hire full time after 12 months. .

Job Summary

The Quality Technician will be responsible for inspections of component goods and finished goods at various suppliers prior to them shipping. They will support the continuing development and ongoing maintenance of a robust, quality management system. The position will work cross-functionally to contribute to programs across the organization and perform ISO certification needs. Reporting to the Operations department, they will ensure a flow of high quality raw materials and finished goods from overseas manufacturing partners in their area of responsibility. In addition, support quality initiatives at manufacturing facilities. The Quality Technician must be able to thrive in a high growth environment, fast paced industry, and be comfortable working with changing priorities.

Some Travel is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Support a quality management system to enable world class quality performance

across the solar-panel installation organization.

? Support quality improvement projects, coordinating multiple stakeholder groups to

identify process and performance gaps and create plans to improve

? Analyze quality management data to assist in root cause analysis, solution

prioritization and business case creation.

? Conduct process analysis, identify gaps/overlaps, recommend solutions, create

business cases, prioritize & implement solutions.

? Create and support documentation of departmental procedures, policies, and

practices as required.

? Prepare regular & ad-hoc reports and presentations; respond to information

requests.

? Interact with vendors and partners to ensure the quality of all deliverables.

? Onsite inspection at vendors in the assigned region to release material for shipping.

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER

SKILLS)

Experience

? An Associates degree is required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent

experience/education combination is a plus.

? 1+ year related quality experience is preferred.

? Quality certification or Project Management certification is a plus.

? Experience within an ISO certified environment is required. ISO implementation

experience is a plus.

Competencies

? Demonstrated ability to drive multiple tasks to completion and use individual time

management to achieve individual tasks.

? Ability to use mathematics to gather & interpret statistical data, tolerances, and use

trigonometric math in metrology situations.

? Excellent organizational and project management skills preferred

? Experience presenting and reporting on plans and analyses to appropriate

stakeholders.

? Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work productively with

cross functional groups

? Background and experience in reading & interpreting technical blueprints, geometric

dimensioning & tolerance principles, data collection & reporting, using metrology

equipment, and working in a manufacturing and / or warehouse environment.

? Exposure to general manufacturing principles especially in aluminum processes such

as extrusion, die casting, machining. Experience in mechanical assembly processes

is a plus.

? Ability to travel is to vendor sites for inspection and release of product.
