Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Program Associate within the public health industry for a contract assignment with our client in Washington, DC. This role is hybrid, onsite 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides comprehensive meeting and project management support for Strategy-led activities, workgroups, and special projects including agenda development, creating slides or other visual documents, staffing meetings, capturing notes, tracking action items, and providing key progress updates throughout the timeline.
  • Performs research and analyses for special projects (e.g., independently researching, compiling and consolidating information into memos, background briefs and other briefing materials to inform special projects or ongoing initiatives).
  • Supports new projects or initiatives led by Strategy, including strategic initiatives, leadership-level projects
  • Coordinates and monitors project timelines and associated deliverables.
  • Participates in long and short-term program development, planning, implementation, and coordination of workgroup activities, particularly for new or special projects.

  • Excellent editing, oral and written communications skills with demonstrated success communicating in both written and verbal format on complex issues relating to internal and external projects.
  • Ability to independently research and synthesize research and analyses into a variety of briefing materials to support leadership decision-making.
  • Personal motivation to support mission and goals; work independently and in teams to think imaginatively about opportunities; to create and respond to novel and innovative approaches to addressing an issue; to inspire others to work towards achieving team goals.
  • Advanced experience in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in Visio, project management and dashboard tools.
