Job Description:

An elite investment company located in the heart of Chicago is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as an Office Administrator. This role will ensure the smooth operation of the office and in addition to that, also provide essential support to our Executive Team. The compensation for this role is $50-55k per year depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Administrator:
  • Set up conference rooms, including beverages, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Maintain and organize copier and supply areas
  • Assist with organizing employee engagement events
  • Provide backup coverage for the reception area
  • Handle errands as required
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects
  • Manage guest reception and food orders
  • Assist in preparing for private events
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Schedule personal appointments
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects

Qualifications of the Office Administrator:
  • 2-5 years in office services or administrative roles
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Strong project and time management capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communicator with all levels of staff while maintaining professionalism
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
