About the Role

As a Workday Administrator, you will oversee the system's configuration, updates, and troubleshooting while supporting and training end-users for optimal functionality. You will develop custom reports and dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, and analyze business requirements for software configurations. Your role will also involve managing standard testing procedures for application updates, ensuring SOX compliance through regular audits, and coordinating with auditors. Additionally, you will communicate system changes effectively and document processes for reference and training.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Workday system, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective utilization of Workday functionalities.
  • Develop and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance system functionality.
  • Analyze and document business requirements for projects and software configurations and make these configurations in the software.
  • Implement and manage standard testing procedures for application release updates, which includes creating, reviewing, executing, and tracking test plans and results.
  • Ensure the Workday system adheres to SOX compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Document internal controls related to Workday processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOX audits and reviews.
  • Communicate system changes, updates, and enhancements to end-users effectively.
  • Participate in project planning and implementation for Workday-related initiatives.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Workday Administrator.
  • Workday Certification in relevant modules. (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Workday reporting and analytics, including report writing and creating dashboards.
  • Proven experience with SOX compliance and Segregation of Duties in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR, Finance, and IT processes and how they integrate with Workday.
  • Experience with other ERP systems and their integration with Workday.
