Job Description:

Position Summary

As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing end user, system, and network support. The role includes maintaining existing systems as well as supporting roll outs of new technologies. As a member of our IT team, you will work closely with operations and staff to ensure technical needs are met. We are a customer service-oriented team, operating in a rapidly changing environment with many different technologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide break fix, fault diagnosis and resolution for PC issues and Microsoft products (e.g. Teams, outlook).
  • Assist with printer and copier issues, escalating as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and manage or escalate network issues including wireless, switch, router. and internet service provider problems.
  • Configure and resolve issues with physical and soft phone systems.
  • Work with external vendors to escalate support needs for specialized equipment
  • Provide timely communication on issues, documenting requests in our Zendesk ticket tracking system and ensuring tickets are closed when work is completed.
  • Escalate issues to other IT team members as needed.
  • Ensure high priority tickets are received and worked or passed along as appropriate to facilitate rapid resolution.
  • Ability to drive to practice locations in the local area.
  • Customer service oriented, with a focus on ensuring (internal) customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Robust time management skills.
  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects, as well as strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge with Windows 10 - 11, active directory, exchange, SharePoint, M365, PC and laptop hardware, document scanners, healthcare practice management systems, imaging systems, network equipment.
  • Detail orientated and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+, MCP or similar certifications desired.
