Job Title: Data Team Manager
Location: Castle Rock, CO
Pay: $125k-150k/year
Responsibilities:
Lead the Navigational Data Team: Oversee a team responsible for managing global navigational data updates on a 28-day cycle.
Data Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure high standards of data accuracy, especially in the context of aviation navigational data.
ARINC 424 Expertise: Familiarity with the ARINC 424 data format and specification.
Team Management: Coordinate and manage a team primarily located in Ukraine.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to expand data coverage and address challenges.
Project Execution: Plan, execute, and deliver data-related projects on time.
Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contracts.
Business Intelligence (BI): Leverage existing data for BI efforts.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years in data management or analytics leadership roles.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong technical background to understand complex issues.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Leadership and Communication:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders.
