Vaco has partnered with a leading Agriculture Technology organization in their search for a SalesForce Engineer. In this role, you will be an integral resource to continue the business adoption and use of leading technical platforms in Salesforce and other related environments. This team is well positioned to advance the company on multiple fronts, and are looking for an amazing Salesforce professional to help do this. This role will report to the Director of IT.
The SalesForce Engineer will serve as a member of a team that is responsible for the design, implementation, development, and support of our multi-instance SalesForce platform and connected internal business applications including an Epicor ERP platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team of employees and contractors to define and support a robust SalesForce environment using agile methodologies
Manage tight collaboration with Product Owners to understand business processes, document requirements, and define solutions
Using Azure Dev Ops, develop, test, and maintain custom solutions for current and future SalesForce versions and capabilities
Maintain data integrity for all SalesForce environments
Support Salesforce integrations to other systems including ERP, ProCore, and 3D design tools
Maintain technical documentation and source code control related to project design and implementation
Respond quickly to resolve application issues
Other duties to support a collaborative approach to managing IT systems and environments as required
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent relevant experience
7+ years experience developing in and implementing SalesForce platforms, specifically a Lightning environment
8+ years with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL
5+ years experience with SalesForce API integrations such as SOAP/REST, OAuth, others
3+ years experience using Azure Dev Ops as primary Agile environment
Strong experience with Conga, Docusign, and other Force platform tools
Experience implementing SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations such as Github, BitBucket etc
