Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side development, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the highest level of code quality.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our technology stack.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer or similar role.
Expertise in PHP
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps (& cloud based computing) practices and tools.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
