Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Project Manager to join our Drivetrain manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in quality assurance with strong project management skills, capable of leading Manufacturing Quality Issue Resolution initiatives across various support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects focused on manufacturing quality issue resolution for Drivetrain products.
Analyze data, conduct shop walks, facilitate team meetings, and drive team activities toward full project execution.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to drive a Zero-Defect Culture within the manufacturing environment.
Implement corrective actions and proactive quality improvement processes that impact both the shop floor and external customers.
Typical Day or Week in the Role:
Daily management of project workload through data analysis, team collaboration, and hands-on project execution.
Regular interaction with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to align on quality standards and project goals.
Work Environment:
Position is based in a manufacturing facility operating Monday through Friday.
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of handling complex assignments and achieving results.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across various functions.
Technical Skills:
Required: Experience in manufacturing, familiarity with factory quality protocols, and adept at project management and data analysis.
Desired: Strong skills in continuous improvement processes, corrective and preventative action development.
