About the Role: Responsibilities
Performs advanced-level professional planning work and manages complex planning projects to completion
Responsible for material requirements planning, capacity planning, and production control activity
Maintains and reports on Key Performance Indicators for Planning adherence, WIP monitoring, Work Center Utilization, planning backlog, master data accuracy (planning related), customer backorder, lead time, and schedule attainment
Monitors and optimizes planning related master data elements
Supports and maintains internal forecasts for internally manufactured instruments
Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement
Works closely with Procurement, Instrument Manufacturing, and Warehouse/Logistics
Ensures inventory levels and turns goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders
Manages daily planning meeting
Runs MRP at reasonable intervals and places appropriate work orders
Liaises with all stakeholders to ensure the timely execution of production orders
May consult with senior peers on projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Supply Chain or Business Management
At least two years of related experience in a dynamic, high-tech environment
Working experience in the Biotech/Life Science industry is preferred
Familiarity with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Navision
Advanced knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices, and techniques of planning
Experience in a regulated environment preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
High degree of detail orientation
Ability to work independently with little oversight
Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to manage communications from both internal and external sources
Pay range and compensation package: At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $62,000/yr. and $85,000/yr. provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
