About the Company: Rapidly growing private equity backed firm with holdings in the contracting industry seeks a hands-on bookkeeper to join their very busy team! QuickBooks and recent ADP payroll experience are a MUST!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills, invoices, and other financial obligations.
Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and any other applicable taxes.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and assets.
Help prepare budget reports and forecasts for management.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
Requirements:
3+ years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP Payroll a MUST!
Some reconciliation and month-end experience.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll (ADP online).
