Job Description:

About the Company: Rapidly growing private equity backed firm with holdings in the contracting industry seeks a hands-on bookkeeper to join their very busy team! QuickBooks and recent ADP payroll experience are a MUST!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills, invoices, and other financial obligations.
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and any other applicable taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and assets.
  • Help prepare budget reports and forecasts for management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP Payroll a MUST!
  • Some reconciliation and month-end experience.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll (ADP online).
