Peace Lutheran Church in New Berlin is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager for a part-time approximately 20 hours per week. A knowledge of building systems( HVAC, electrical, plumbing) would be desirable. Good communication skills required. Excellent hourly pay. Responsibilities include:
Monitoring building systems such as fire alarms, plumbing systems, heating and air conditioning systems, electrical systems, septic systems, etc.
Doing simple maintenance and repair to the above systems as needed
Contracting with service providers for more complex tasks.
Assuring that the grounds are kept in an attractive and safe condition.
Ordering and maintaining a supply of cleaning and replacement materials.
Coordinating maintenance activities with pre-school and other church ministries
Assuring that janitorial services are conducted in a timely and complete manner.
Working with volunteers to set up and prepare the facility for various functions.
Communicating daily with church and pre-school staff.
Providing regular periodic written and or verbal reports to the Ministry Council and/or Pastor.
