LHH is working with a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical client in Palo Alto to hire a Procure-to-Pay Analyst. This position will support financial analysis, data analytics, and special finance projects specific to procure-to-pay. Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge around procure-to-pay processes and coupa, in a biopharma company. Great opportunity to learn, work with a great team, and grow your skillset. This company is based in Palo Alto and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Target compensation is $85k-$125k, plus bonus and equity.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate cross-functionally to support procurement systems and processes
Support the vendor and bid evaluation process, including by providing financial assessments where appropriate
Support the executive team in managing reviews of requisitions and purchase orders through hands-on operations of the procurement system
Partner with the accounting team to trouble-shoot invoices including coding and vendor set-ups
Partner with FP&A managers and business leaders on 'hightouch' requisitions and process change order edits
In partnership with clinical operations, run the site payments process for procurement
Support our clinical research sites in partnership with clinical operations
Working with our FP&A managers, maintain financial and operating metrics in support of clinical trials, including plans, forecasts, & variances for specific areas
Support decision-making through data analysis and model building framed around a good understanding of the business
Lead financial data processes and support the rhythm of consistent reporting and of timely, accurate data flows
Enhance operational excellence within the team by creating useful data automation wherever possible
Skills and Competencies:
2-4 years of procurement or relevant FP&A experience
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or Business
Experience with Tools including Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake, or Coupa
Excellent communication and internal customer service mentality
