Sr. Financial Analyst

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a highly analytical and dynamic team with high visibility and collaboration across the businesses. The Senior Financial Analyst will immediately contribute to a range of strategic projects and high priority initiatives, helping to drive insights and analysis to solve business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare participation calculations for Studio Finance team for inclusion in program ultimates
  • Track incoming participation statements, perform reviews, and compare with associated audit rights in order to determine the Studio's position for possible audit engagement
  • Review legal agreements and participation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Assist in cash planning and forecasting for long range participation and residual payments
  • Research and resolve guild and third party audit settlements and legal proceedings related to Studio participations and residuals
  • Work in team environment on various high exposure FP&A projects for executive understanding and decision making process
  • Must be able to work with and analyze large amounts of data
  • Partner with other groups to obtain relevant information for related participant analyses

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
  • MS suite experience with a strong concentration in Excel a must
  • Strong analytical and communication skills required
  • Previous experience in Participation and Residuals preferred
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Highly analytical, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives
  • Results?oriented with the ability to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast?paced environment to achieve desired results
  • Able to build positive relationships with finance peers
