Are you a strategic financial leader with a passion for driving business performance? Our client in Center City is seeking an exceptional Director of FP&A to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a dynamic company and collaborate with top executives.

Your Role:
  • Lead Financial Strategy: Coordinate and direct the company's budgeting and financial planning efforts, providing valuable insights and projections to the Finance and Company leadership teams.
  • Develop Financial Reports: Create accurate and timely monthly financial reports, develop presentations that highlight key analysis, and frame important decisions.
  • Monitor Financial Performance: Oversee real-time financial performance monitoring, identify and escalate any financial issues, and set and track KPIs.
  • Analyze and Innovate: Conduct market research, perform variance analysis, and develop financial models to recommend strategies for enhancing financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and central FP&A groups to align on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
  • Support Cross-Functional Teams: Provide FP&A support to Finance and Accounting teams, addressing business challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.

What You Bring:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA are preferred.
  • FP&A Experience: At least seven years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally with a background in accounting.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the insurance or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in financial planning and analysis software.
  • Technology Implementation: Experience in enterprise risk management (ERM) technology implementation preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of driving projects and influencing others through effective communication.
  • Analytical Mindset: Superior financial and quantitative skills, with the ability to dive deeply into financial data and provide actionable insights.
