The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Research Professional.
Essential Functions

  • Screen patients for inclusion in study-based pre-determined criteria.

  • Contact and approach potential patients for study participation.

  • In conjunction with investigator and senior CRP, document and evaluate adverse events and response to treatment.

  • Assist the Senior CRP with study-related activities.

  • Perform routine physical/clinical/procedures.

  • Maintain the American Thrombosis & Hemostasis Network (ATHN) Dataset - primarily responsible for entering patient data for all individuals with clotting and bleeding disorders seen in the clinic throughout the year.

  • Ensure compliance with contract principles, federal regulations, laws, and the University of Cincinnati/UC Physicians Company, policy and operating procedures.

  • Liaison with medical staff, university departments, ancillary departments, satellite facilities, IRB, and industry contacts.


Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree must be in a related field.

  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.


Required Experience

One (1) year of related experience.


Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Master's Degree.

  • Experience in an academic or clinical setting in the area of clinical specialization.
