Our healthcare client is looking for a Network Security Engineer. If you wear the networking hat in your current role and have major knowledge of protocols, you would make a great fit.
This role is hybrid- 2 days onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the network.
Act as a liaison between the security and networking teams.
Ensure network changes are carefully managed to avoid impacting healthcare operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
CCNA Certification REQUIRED
Extensive knowledge on Cisco switching and Fortinet
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering.
Hands-on experience with NAC solutions such as Clearpass or Cisco ISE.
Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of network protocols and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Cisco platforms and Fortinet.
CCNA required, CCNP preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Working in a large organization
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
