Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Engineer for a large financial client that can sit in Kennesaw, GA; Chicago, IL; or Jacksonville, FL. Candidates will be required to sit on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) at one of the three locations. This is a 12 mo. Contract position with the possibility to extend up to 24 months.

Pay Rate: $55-60/hr.

Position Summary:
The Windows Server Engineer - is a strong, technical team member with extensive experience working on infrastructure projects that require collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:
At least 6 years Event and Windows Server Operating System Automation
?At least 6 years of experience in PowerShell scripting and development
At least 3 years of experience with Configuration Management (SCCM)
Experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS
Knowledge and experience supporting core systems and storage platform services in which the infrastructure is dependent
Ability to self-manage projects with clients and technical peers to tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Desired Skills:
Good understanding of Windows Server Operating System
Load balancer and network experience systems a plus
Solid understanding of storage services (NAS, SAN, etc)?
Experience with PowerShell, Ansible and Python a plus
