Key Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all MSHA and company safety policies.
Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with both potential and current clients.
Project Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to determine timeframes, budget constraints, procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
Estimate Preparation: Develop and submit accurate project estimates within designated deadlines.
Subcontractor Coordination: Solicit bids and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
Project Setup: Organize and prepare all necessary documentation for new projects.
Change Orders: Assess and price change orders as needed.
Project Management: Oversee project personnel activities to ensure projects progress as scheduled and within budget, providing problem-solving advice when required.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of five years' experience in Heavy Civil Construction specific to this region.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and specialized project management software.
Ability to meet physical demands, including fitting and using appropriate PPE.
Ability to perform essential job functions, including movement and lifting as required.
