Job Description:

OVERVIEW  iTech AG is actively recruiting for an experienced ServiceNow System Administrator to support a federal government contract. The ServiceNow System Administrator is responsible for working as part of a larger ServiceNow team. This position provides the support necessary to manage and maintain the enterprise instance of ServiceNow for a large federal customer, including upgrade planning support and release management.   RESPONSIBILITIES   

• To ensure platform health and performance, serve as a larger platform engineering team member performing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities, including development, enhancements, break-fix, etc...


• Responsible for picking up service tickets related to reported issues or user stories related to platform enhancements and independently developing or configuring the desired outcomes.


• Perform planning, testing, and execution activities related to platform upgrades, including resolving conflicts, validating continued functionality and performance, and performing clone-downs.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years of application programming experience. 


• Minimum of  5 years of experience as a ServiceNow system administrator.


• Must have experience with software development tracking tools such as Jira, ServiceNow Agile, etc.


• Must be familiar with preserver and exclusions of a clone profile.


• Must be able to identify deltas for export/reinstall including update sets, plugins, and applications. 


• Must be familiar with the standard code migration processes between ServiceNow instances.


• Must have experience performing upgrades and patching for the ServiceNow platform.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOL MBI clearance.


• Existing DOL MBI clearance is strongly preferred.


• Pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
