OVERVIEW iTech AG is actively recruiting for an experienced ServiceNow System Administrator to support a federal government contract. The ServiceNow System Administrator is responsible for working as part of a larger ServiceNow team. This position provides the support necessary to manage and maintain the enterprise instance of ServiceNow for a large federal customer, including upgrade planning support and release management. RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure platform health and performance, serve as a larger platform engineering team member performing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities, including development, enhancements, break-fix, etc...
Responsible for picking up service tickets related to reported issues or user stories related to platform enhancements and independently developing or configuring the desired outcomes.
Perform planning, testing, and execution activities related to platform upgrades, including resolving conflicts, validating continued functionality and performance, and performing clone-downs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of application programming experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow system administrator.
Must have experience with software development tracking tools such as Jira, ServiceNow Agile, etc.
Must be familiar with preserver and exclusions of a clone profile.
Must be able to identify deltas for export/reinstall including update sets, plugins, and applications.
Must be familiar with the standard code migration processes between ServiceNow instances.
Must have experience performing upgrades and patching for the ServiceNow platform.
