Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Admissions Operations ensures that all admissions processing is completed efficiently and accurately, and that each admission application is reviewed based on the admissions standards set forth by the university. This position reports to the Associate Director of Admissions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process undergraduate and graduate admissions.
  • Assist in overseeing all admission processing staff to ensure applications are getting a decision in a timely manner.
  • Assist in overseeing admissions application processing for both domestic undergraduate processing and international processing.
  • Coordinate Appeal Committees and Appeals Drop Box and be a member of the student conduct committee.
  • Serve as a liaison between admissions and other department staff regarding current policies and student application processing, refunds, agents, and/or other situations.
  • Monitor all audit reports, and administrative queries in Slate, and Banner reports to ensure accurate information is being pulled correctly.
  • Effectively oversee, update, and assist in Constituo, Banner, WebIZ, Triand, and other related CRM systems.
  • Attend major recruiting events as the Admissions representative for Domestic and International.
  • Participate in cross-training of other admission analysts ' departments when necessary, aid in processing other admission roles as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to empathize and work with students and faculty from different cultures.
Knowledge of campus resources.
Ability to work cooperatively with other offices on campus.
Strong management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to give clear, concise directions and explanations.
Knowledge of Slate preferred.

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Some weekends and nights may be required for travel or events.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor's Degree is required.
