Put your career into high gear with Mavis Discount Tire! We're seeking a full-time HVAC Facilities Service Manager to join Team Mavis at our Operations Support Center in Valhalla, New York. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the Position of HVAC Facilities Service Manager
As a vital member of the Mavis Facilities Department, the HVAC Service Manager will oversee and manage our retail HVAC Systems and Vendor Network as well as all associated controls for the enterprise. This position will oversee and monitor HVAC repairs, maintenance and project activities by ensuring quality control, expediting repairs while effectively negotiating prices. You will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to HVAC process improvement efforts impacting R&M and Capex over a national portfolio of retail tire shops, providing top customer service to the operations team.
Your Specific Responsibilities Include • Oversee and manage regional vendors by following up on the quality and timeliness of repairs • Oversee the daily operation and management of HVAC programs, including scheduling and assigning work to capable vendors • Manage ongoing service contracts to ensure the organization receives best-in-class pricing for parts and service contracts, develop and manage budgets • Accountability for sourcing and onboarding of HVAC vendors. • Participate in department/unit strategic management with Mavis's leadership, including making recommendations involving short-term planning for HVAC facility-type projects and for longer-range programs/projects; providing input into long-range financial, budgeting, and programmatic planning and development; providing input into the development of policies and procedures; interpret and manage policies and procedures for assigned area.

To be eligible for the position of HVAC Facilities Service Manager, you must possess a strong knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, AC, Refrigeration.
Ten or more years of experience managing large HVAC teams or maintenance staff in a high-volume service-oriented role.
