The Kelley School of Business located on the Indiana University Indianapolis campus invites applications for an Employer Relations Specialist in the Kelley Indianapolis Career Services (KICS) office. The KICS office is located within the Kelley office of Academic and Professional Development (KAPD), which also houses Kelley's Undergraduate Program office. The Kelley offices are centrally located on the vibrant urban campus of IU Indianapolis.

This Employer Relations Specialist role will help to drive the mission of Kelley Indianapolis Career Services and support the highly competitive Kelley Indianapolis Undergraduate and Graduate Accounting Programs serving over 1600 plus students through a complete range of career services.



Job Summary



Department-Specific Responsibilities


  • Executes the employer services strategy by planning and marketing career fairs and networking events.

  • Provides support for additional employer engagement and visibility of programs and initiatives.

  • Coordinates the advertisement of internships and full-time positions to students utilizing career services technology platform and social media strategies.

  • Assists in the maintenance of current relationships by providing exemplary service to corporate and community partners.

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinates on-campus recruitment events to connect students with potential employers.

  • Assists with managing relationships with employers and alumni through regular communication.

  • Assists with implementing on- and/or off-campus events and participates in planning, employer relations, student marketing, event execution, and post-event evaluation.

  • Helps coordinate the logistics and scheduling of information sessions, on-campus interviews, class presentations, and networking events hosted by the career center, featuring alumni and employer representatives.

  • Oversees the online job and internship posting process and makes critical decisions during the review process to ensure all postings adhere to office and campus policies.

  • Interprets and enforces policies pertinent to third-party recruiting and other employment conditions.

  • Reports and analyzes recruiting data for detailed, annual evaluation.

  • Meets regularly with colleagues to assist with analyzing recruitment trends and plan employer relations strategies that enhance existing relationships and identify new opportunities.

EDUCATION



Required



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Working Conditions / Demands



This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
