Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the guidance of licensed physical therapists.


• Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitation services to residents, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for residents.


• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions and resident progress.


• Educate residents and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.


• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California.


• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
