As a Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst, you are responsible for the security of Equifax's corporate infrastructure as well as the infrastructure hosting Equifax's SaaS offerings.
What You'll Do
Configure and support vulnerability scanning, analysis, and reporting across Equifax globally
Deliver timely reports in line with security standards to IT teams with clear indications of remediation needs
Use manual testing techniques and methods to gain a better understanding of the environment and validate false negatives/positives
Identify gaps and areas of improvement for process and recommendations to fill those gaps or implement change
Promotes and facilitates effective communication between the Information System, Security Engineering, Architecture, IT Operations and other departments and or business units
What experience you need
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of technology experience with experience in a technology risk function (security vulnerability or patch management roles preferred)
Minimum of 2 years experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Rapid7, Qualys, Tenable)
Tools use experience beyond reporting is required: validate false negatives/positives, identify gaps/room for improvement, promote effective communication across business units regarding gaps and related findings
Experience in vulnerability analysis and CVSS scoring in an enterprise IT environment
What could set you apart
Bi-lingual (Portuguese preferred)
Hands on OS operations, development, or penetration testing, support experience a plus
Security specific certifications preferred, but not required:(CISSP, CISA, etc.)
Ability to interact and communicate across both technology and business audiences
To adhere to our corporate location policies, this resource will be required to be local to the surrounding Atlanta areas (or willing to relocate for this position) and adhere to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Alpharetta is a preferred location but will also consider Midtown/Atlanta or St. Louis as a secondary option.
