Summary

The role of VP of Sales is lead AutomaTech to achieve our financial goals: revenue and gross profit on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Responsibilities


  • Grow and manage the business to achieve desired financial results: Revenue and Gross Profit.
  • Execute on our go to market plan
  • Maintain and improve the company's culture.
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, mentor, develop, and evaluates sales staff to ensure the team has the appropriate level of accountability.
  • Develops annual sales budget in alignment with organizational strategic direction and the annual goals and objectives.
  • Provides regular forecasts of sales revenue and anticipated expenses. Ensures that expenses are aligned to revenues and budgets.
  • Designs, and implements commission programs to reward and incentivize the team.
  • Ability to create and implement market expansion plans.
  • Work closely with key parts of the leadership team: Presales, Post Sales services, operations, marketing and finance.
  • Work with the Financial Team to achieve on time and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the Key Suppliers Relationships to optimize Sales and Territory Expansion
  • Coordinate with Suppliers for Forecasts as needed by Vendor.

Experience and Requirements


  • Extensive sales, marketing and operations experience in the Automation Industry (preferably with a strong industrial software and technology packground)
  • Minimum 10 years leading, developing and coaching outside and inside sales teams with a deep understanding of automation distribution and its value proposition to the market.
  • Proven track record of hiring and building high-performance sales teams and establishing enduring relationships with customers and key suppliers to increase market share while increasing profitability.
  • 5-7 years' experience in OEM, End User, System Integrator and Consulting channels and the ability to increase market share in all
  • Strong Business Development acumen
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with an established network (contacts)
  • Experience in both high volume transaction selling as well project-based cap-ex projects.
  • Strong work ethic with proactive communication skills;
  • Proficient computer and technical skills including working knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office 365 (including MS Teams)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
