The Inventory Control Coordinator will assist in the successful management of the inventory tie out reconciliation process in the stores as well as assist train new managers in the proper record keeping of their inventories. This position will act as lead and ensure inventory issues are handled in a timely manner.
Duties and responsibilities:
Annual inventory tie outs/retakes/manager change inventories.
Work with stores on monthly tie outs.
Research shortages-run and review reports (i.e. payables vs. PO receiving documents).
Communicate with Management, Corporate, and Accounting.
Conduct Store audit onsite during inventory at pre-determined locations.

Qualifications & Education Requirements
High School Diploma/ GED
6 months -- 1 year of previous experience working with inventory audit process
Excellent organizational and planning skills along with good judgement, motivation and communication skills
Basic understanding of the business operations and correlation between business operations and accounting function
Motivated, self-starter with exceptional written and oral communication and comprehension skills
Ability to train and teach others
Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and ability to solve complex difficult problems
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial record keeping
Accurate and precise
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong background in computers with solid understanding of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Preferred Skills
Proficient with ComCept computer system
Additional Notes
This is a travel/work from home position and the candidate will be traveling two weeks a month. Preferably this person will live in the central or western area of the United States.
