Description


The Clemson University College of Architecture, Art and Construction seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs in the Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning. This opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and be offered in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online. The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs. The areas of content expertise required by the department include topics in: Construction Science and Management and/or Real Estate Development.

About the Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning (NCDP):

The Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning (NCDP) currently serves approximately 450 students with more than 25 faculty and includes undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Construction Science and Management (BS CSM, MCSM and PhD CSM) and a Master's degree program in Real Estate Development (MRED).


About the College of Architecture, Art and Construction (CAAC):

The newly formed College of Architecture, Art and Construction (CAAC) houses the Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning (NCDP), the School of Architecture (SoA), and the Department of Art.

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in an appropriate field of construction management, engineering, business, or real estate development; with significant industry experience specifically related to the course content to be taught.



Preferred Qualifications



Master’s degree from an accredited program in an appropriate field of construction management, engineering, business, or real estate development; with significant industry experience specifically related to the course content to be taught.

Part-time visiting lecturer positions will be filled prior to the start of each term.
