Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Tax Supervisor in Plantation Florida. This client is a National Public Accounting firm. This firm offers a good work life balance along with opportunity to advance along with a performance bonus.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparation/review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns


• Preparation/review of high-net-worth individual returns


• Review of C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns


• Review of complex individual returns


• Tax Manager will research and draft memorandum involving tax matters


• Identify tax planning opportunities


• Handle and resolve tax controversies


• Training and supervision of staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• Accounting degree or similar


• CPA


• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience for mainly corporations & Partnerships


• Prior experience in managing and leading teams, demonstrating effective leadership abilities


• Proficient project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently


• Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills


• Experience preparing taxes for Construction, real estate, retail, professional services is a big plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
