Performs equipment ordering, installation, validation, and qualification to ensure compliance with applicable standard operating procedures and/or equipment operator manuals. Responsible for maintaining accurate records related to equipment management program (CMMS).

As a Equipment Specialist, you'll get to:
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
Responsible for bringing compliance issues to the attention of management.
Provides value for the customer by supporting departmental and individual goal achievement, effective communications, process improvement and compliance.

Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.
Schedules and performs quality control (QC) and preventative maintenance (PM) on all Donor Care Equipment as required.
Performs installation, validation, or qualification procedures on newly acquired equipment or equipment returned from repair or maintenance.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for the asset management system. (CMMS)
May assist with the development of corresponding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding equipment validation.
Releases, prints, distributes, and closes work orders in the equipment maintenance system in a timely manner and develops a process in collaboration with management to ensure timely follow up.
Specializes in the maintenance, use, and calibration of temperature logging equipment.
Notifies CO regarding status changes for equipment tracked in eProgesa.
Reviews and maintains accurate equipment files, including archiving and management of vendor supplied manuals.
May assist during internal or external audits by gathering equipment files and answering questions related to equipment.
May assist in budgeting discussions.
Maintains and updates accurate spreadsheets and location logs of all equipment on a regular basis.
Ensures equipment is sent for repair and/or repairs equipment if vendor authorized. Orders replacement parts as needed and maintains accurate inventory of those parts.
Maintains documentation of repairs and returns repaired equipment back to operations in a timely manner.
Requirements
Knowledge/ Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A two- or four-year technical degree preferred.
Licenses/ Certifications
None.
Experience
Three years of relevant work experience required.
Three years equipment validation and maintenance experience preferred.
Training skills with experience preferred.

Ability to communicate clearly and have the skills necessary to provide excellent services to internal and external customers.
