Purpose:

As the Senior Tax Accountant specializing in Corporate Income Tax, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our corporate tax compliance and strategy. You will join a team responsible for ensuring our tax obligations are met efficiently and accurately, while also optimizing our tax position to support overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Gathering of information needed to prepare the federal and state corporate income/franchise tax returns

· Assist in the preparation of worldwide ASC 740 calculations, and reconciliation of tax accounts

· Calculation of quarterly estimated income tax payments and annual extension payments

· Calculation of Federal, AMT, ACE and state depreciation and roll forward schedules

· Assist in coordinating and preparing data in support of filing forms 5471 & 8858

· Assist in the gathering of information needed to calculate the research and development tax credit

· Assist with the preparation of the income tax footnote for the quarterly and annual SEC filings

· Assist with monthly computations of effective tax rate and tax cash projections

· Assist with various federal and state income tax audits

· Prepare responses to various notices received from federal and state taxing authorities

· Perform tax research on U.S. and foreign tax issues

· Perform other tax tasks and projects as requested and assigned

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management

· Detail orientated attention and adherence to departmental policies

· Ability to work in an action-oriented environment.

· Ability to complete assignments verbally or written in a timely manner with a

high level of accuracy

· Ability to work autonomously with a sense of assessing risk and when to

escalate issues

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s degree in accounting a plus.

· 3 - 5 years of corporate income tax accounting & compliance experience in a public accounting firm

· Expertise in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, sum-if formulas, and other advanced functions.

· Experience with CCH and other tax research materials.

· Strong multi-tasking skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
