Job Description:

Do you have a strong customer facing skillset? Are you highly organized and prioritize projects based on time and budget? If so then we need you as our next Program Manager!!
Where does the Program Manager fit in?
As the Program Manager, you will be expected to liaise with customers and provide support on various project management issues. Completion of requisitions for capital, tooling and any other required materials for assigned projects. You will work closely with suppliers in order to meet project goals and deadlines, following up on all aspects of a given project from start to finish. The Program Manager will assist in the development of technical presentations to support the Sales team as well as lead or assist with technical reviews for programs related to engineered solutions.
What you can expect as our next Program Manager:

Build overall project budget, compile budget requests, and generate capitalization plan based on project timeline
Ensure the strategy (customer requirements/timeline/milestones) is well communicated with stakeholders for alignment and meeting objectives
Act as the key point of contact to the client's program leader/technical counterpart
Monitor & manage all key dates and timing charts as required
Facilitate program/project status meetings with project teams & account steering teams
Manage technical & administrative staff and provide ongoing direction in the performance of the assigned program
Identify roadblocks and recommend appropriate resolutions
Manage information both externally and internally as required by each project
Be responsible for timely communication of information and customer interaction
Ensure successful program launch
Be accountable to keep customer and program on track with effective conflict resolution
Ensure to keep management updated on program status and communicate escalations as required
Maintain positive relationships with current and past clients, keeping them up to date of company developments & potential opportunities
Assist internal teams for preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements & specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
Plan & drive long-term strategies for key accounts that align with corporate mandate
Ensures compliance of IATF-16949 systems and procedures
Assist with Continuous Improvement Initiatives for current systems and processes
Provide technical support for engineered solutions- with the development of technical presentations, leading/assisting with technical reviews as well as attending technical sales presentations as required
Perform additional assigned duties and responsibilities as required.

Are you our next Program Manager?

Post-secondary degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in program/project management (automotive industry)
Experience in the Automotive industry is required
Experience in the Plastics industry is required
Proficient with MS Project
Impeccable oral and written communication & presentation skills, with the ability to interface with senior management
Strong relationship building skills
Able to effectively communicate client needs to the organization, simultaneously balancing organizational requirements
Proactive view to identifying & driving financial benefits for our clients
Proven successful launches of previous programs
Ability to think & execute strategically and is results oriented
Self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi task as required
Able to travel to customer/supplier destinations within North America with short notice

Ability to communicate in Korean is a huge asset!
