Oneonta City School District has the following anticipated vacancy for the 2024-25 school year: Special Education Teacher Qualified candidates will possess appropriate NYS certification; Students with Disabilities encompassing grades 6-8 preferred. We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team, committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting teaching methods and materials to meet each student's unique abilities. Responsibilities include assessing students' skills, collaborating with parents and multidisciplinary teams, and providing a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
