THE BEAUTIFUL HILTON HOUSTON POST OAK BY THE GALLERIA IS SEARCHING FOR A FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR TO ASSIST IN LEADING THE FRONT OFFICE TEAM!

We're half a mile from the shops and restaurants at The Galleria - America's fourth largest mall - and three miles from Memorial Park and the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. Downtown Houston is six miles away. Our second-floor outdoor pool has plenty of seating, and we also have a 24-hour fitness center, as well as two restaurants and a bar. Our hotel consists of 448 guest rooms, 18 meeting rooms, and over 29,000 sq ft in meeting space!

The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of Manager/Supervisor experience in a hotel setting, preferably Hilton. We are looking for someone who is experienced in Front Desk Operations to build the team and bring them together. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, because they will play a key role in the communication between the departments in the hotel.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Office Supervisor, you would be responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Assign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
  • Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre-shift meetings, inform and train team members
  • Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
  • Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing accordingly
