The Sr. Manufacturing Manager is responsible for all safety, quality, operational and people aspects of the Focus Factory (FF). This role work with Managers / leaders from different functions to optimize FF performance.

Responsibilities may include procedures and budgets.


  • Responsible for the development and / or implementation of strategies and activities in production area(s) to meet safety, quality, cost and people objectives.

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of manufacturing supervisors, team leaders overseeing a total workforce of over 350 people in a schedule of 24 / 7 / 3 shifts operation .

  • Responsible to develop manufacturing capacity planning and manpower requirements to meet production demand.

  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.

  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.

  • Employ lean concepts and techniques, working closely with production leadership and Operational Excellence (OpEx) to allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.

  • Implement cost reduction, waste reduction, quality improvement, and productivity improvement programs to ensure attainment of key performance metrics and sustainable performance improvements.

  • Management Skills: Management of Financial and Material Resources, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Management of Personnel Resources, Effective Communication Skills.

  • Functional Skills: Manufacturing Technologies, Proficient computer skills, Data Science and Analysis, Lean Manufacturing and continued improvement, Managing Quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Requires a Bachelor degree

  • and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

Nice to Have- Preferred skills and education


  • Strong Financial Analytical skills

  • Capacity Planning

  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing systems

  • DMAIC Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Engineering Background preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in a matrix organization.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of employees.

  • Medical Device Manufacturing Experience
