General Manager – Division Manager


Pasek Security Company, a DH Pace Company, Inc. will hire an experienced General Manager to manage downtown South Boston and Salem, NH Commercial Security Integration (ISS) and Entry Door Systems (EDS) businesses.


This leadership position handles all aspects of Operations, including full P&L responsibility and daily interaction with all levels of personnel. 


POSITION OVERVIEW:



  • Lead and oversee all divisional operations and management personnel associated with efficiently, effectively and profitably handling all Service, Repair, and Installation jobs

  • Manage and improve operational processes and procedures with the objective of providing maximum profit and return with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and return business

  • Manage sales efforts, including direct and indirect management of sales employees, to focus their efforts on achieving budgeted sales and gross profit objectives and growing their Territory and Key Account customer bases

  • Collaborate with East Area Manager to establish sales and operating budgets

  • Deliver Profit Dollars and the return on sales that meets or exceeds the yearly financial budget/forecast

  • Establish objectives and action plans and ensure all are consistent with corporate objectives

  • Hire, train and develop new employees; improve individual performance through daily coaching, monthly P&L and Scorecard reviews and yearly performance reviews

  • Effectively lead meetings, set performance expectations and hold employees accountable

  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience leading operations and sales in commercial service, commercial electronic security integration industry, or other related industrial / commercial industry. Knowledge and familiarity of construction, building materials, commercial electronic security products and/or large retail operations a

  • Commitment to regularly managing operations in-office M-F with minimum three (3) days in the South Boston office and up to two (2) days per week in Salem, NH office.

  • Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required in advance of hire; must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

  • Industry licensing for the state of Massachusetts: Ideally will have a C license and an S license (or the desire and ability to attain).  A or B licenses (high voltage) also acceptable in conjunction with S licenses.  D (low voltage) license with the aptitude and desire to gain C license also acceptable.  A plus is to have additional state industry licensing near MA, i.e., Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersy, New York, Vermont

  • Possess an ability for technical applications, mechanical/electrical systems and problem solving

  • Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel, as well as hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews

  • Must enjoy a high level of activity in a hands-on environment where there is an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service

  • Travel is minimal; on occasion to customer job sites and a couple times a year for management meetings
