Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
***This position requires strong forklift capability.***
• Maintain ERP database of inventory transactions. • Coordinate with Engineering department on discrepancies found with BOM information. • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as inventory shortages, negative on hand quantities, and BOM discrepancies. • Confer with supply chain management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost. • Remotely monitor the flow of inventory, using Web-based logistics information systems to track vehicles or containers. • Track “issued to” flow from origin to final posting. • Recommend improvements to existing or planned inventory processes. • Enter inventory-related data into databases. • Apply analytic methods or tools to understand, predict, or control inventory operations or processes. • Maintain inventory records in accordance with corporate policies. • Assist in developing specific stocking level & parts objectives with an emphasis on cost reduction, quality improvement, technology development, on time delivery, inventory reduction, lead-time reduction, and customer focus necessary to support the MRL business plan. • Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives. • Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as assigned. • Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
Education and Work Experience: ** MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A FORKLIFT- You will need to operate a forklift for a large part of your shift. Must be well experienced in operating forklift. • High School Diploma or equivalent with basic mechanical education • 1-2+ Years related job experience • Ability to understand Blue Prints • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Wage: Hourly: $18-$20 DOE w/quarterly bonus payout opportunity up to $1000 per quarter
