Kforce has a client in need of a Technical Project Manager in Providence, RI.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end implementation, including planning, execution, and delivery
Develop and manage project plans, ensuring all phases of the project are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Work closely with key stakeholders to gather and document detailed project requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, warehouse operations staff, and external vendors; Foster collaboration and ensure that all team members are aligned with project objectives
Identify potential risks and issues related to implementation
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders; Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions; Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee the testing phase, including system functionality and performance testing; Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues identified to ensure the system meets all requirements
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, training materials, and status reports; Ensure that all documentation is current and accessible to stakeholders
Assess project outcomes and processes to identify opportunities for improvement; Apply lessons learned and best practices to future projects and implementations
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on WMS implementations; At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS solutions or similar warehouse management systems
Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and delivering results
Strong understanding of Manhattan WMS functionalities and warehouse management best practices
Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management abilities
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with project management tools and software
Familiarity with warehouse operations, supply chain management, and inventory control
Understanding of system integration, data migration, and IT infrastructure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
